MAO with IPTG-inducible promoter
MAO is a genetic sequence that encodes for a possible acylation candidate protein which will hopefully acylate glycogen chains. The plasmid contains a promoter sequence which is IPTG inducible, and these are both encoded within the standard pSB1C3 vector. The bacteria therefore shows chloramphenicol resistance.
