GlgB-Rv3030 with IPTG-inducible promoter

Rv3030 is a gene which codes for a putative acyltransferase which acylates glycogen/starch chains. This enzyme is encoded with GlgB which codes for a branching enzyme which will cut alpha-1,4 links and reattach the cut glycogen strand and re-anneal the strand to the main glycogen compound through an alpha-1,6 linkage, therefore creating a branch. These enzymes are promoted by an IPTG-inducible promoter and are encoded within the pSB1C3 standard vector.
