RecA730 is a part of the SOS pathway.It is a mutant of RecA which is also a active form of RecA.
Usage and Biology
When DNA encounters severe damage which may leads to critical problem of the cell, the most prior task is to stabilize the DNA as soon as possible, even at the cost of generate mutation. SOS bypass is an emergency DNA repair method of cells. The functional enzyme of SOS is polymerase V.
