Constitutive Codon Optimized Super Nova
Codon optimized version of the monomeric superoxide generator Super Nova (BBa_K1491017) with a constitutive promoter (BBa_J23100) and a ribosome binding site (BBa_B0034). Super Nova is the monomeric form of Killer Red (BBa_K1184000).
Of the three superoxide generators, Supernova had the biggest decrease in viability following photobleaching when compared to its control. It also had the largest decrease in fluorescence following photobleaching. Fluorescence was measured at (ex/em = 585nm/610nm).
