Codon Optimized Supernova
Supernova is the monomeric version of KillerRed (BBa_K1184000). It has been codon optimized for E. coli.
Of the three superoxide generators, Supernova had the biggest decrease in viability following photobleaching when compared to its control. It also had the largest decrease in fluorescence following photobleaching. Fluorescence was measured at (ex/em = 585nm/610nm).
