ybiJ promoter
Promoter of the ybiJ gene, which is activated by the presence of several nitrogen-based compounds such as 2,4,6-TNT, 2,4-DNT and 1,3-DNB.
The functionality of the ybiJ promoter is proven by the production of mKate2 in response to 2,4-DNT on the characterisation of BioBrick BBa_K1316005 (https://parts.igem.org/Part:BBa_K1316005). Its response in front of 2,4-DNT, nevertheless, is much lower than the one of the yqjF promoter (BioBrick BBa_K1316003).
