DPP-IV (our siRNA target)

DPP-IV

As proof of concept for our project we envisaged downregulating DPP-IV production by interfering with the translational part of its production, through RNA interference. This is a section of the 3’UTR of the protein dipeptidyl peptidase four (DPP-IV). This contains the target sequence for the siRNA (BBa_K1442113).

Usage

This was used to test the silencing ability of the siRNA for DPP-IV (BBa_K1142113) by cloning the target into the forwards GFP for humans (BBa_K1442106). A decrease in fluorescence would be observed with silencing.
