NahR-Psal-B0034-RiboJ-φR73δ
For detailed information concerning Band-pass Filter, please visit 2013 Peking iGEM Band-pass Filter
Characteristics
K1031019 is designed to test the activation effect of φR73Δ to hybrid promoter. It is composed of NahR, Psal promoter which is activated by NahR when exposed to its' inducer salicylic acid, RBS B0034, RiboJ and φR73Δ.
Fig 1 Construction of activation circuit of Band-pass Filter. The combination of φR73Δ with hybrid promoter and sfGFP could test if φR73Δ really works as an activator.

Data shown
Previous work done by Dr. Lou Chunbo has proved the activation effect of φR73Δ to hybrid promoter. This activation circuit is exposed to the typical inducer of NahR, salicylic acid, and the expression level of φR73Δ is controlled by tuning the inducer's concentration. The activation effect of φR73Δ to hybrid promoter is shown via fluorescence intensity.
Fig 2 Effect of activation circuit of Band-pass Filter. Horizontal axis stands for different concentration of NahR inducer, salicylic acid. Vertical axis represents fluorescence intensity. From Fig 2 it is obvious that φR74Δ indeed activates the hybrid promoter, thus initiates the expression of sfGFP. (Data from Dr. Lou Chunbo)
