When cjBlue is expressed, the colonies on plates as well as the liquid culture become greenish. Compared to other chromoproteins like aeBlue, eforRed and amilGFP the color development is slower.

When we compared cjBlue with other chromoproteins like aeBlue (BBa_K1073020), eforRed (BBa_K1073022) and amilGFP (BBa_K1073024), the development of the color is not as strong.
