Applications of BBa_J100126
Two colonies of E. coli containing the altered MekA promoter and one colony from a positive control were each grown in the presence of glucose and without glucose present (total of six samples). The total RFP fluorescence from each sample was measured and then divided by the absorbency of the sample to give the fluorescence related to cell density. This is the number shown here.
