RIP 1
Receptor interacting protein 1, a serine/threonine kinase that play an important role in cell apoptosis and necrosis. Overexpression of RIP 1 in cancer cells may induce cell death[1].

The death-induce effect of RIP 1
This is the pre-experiment we do. We also confirm the death-induction effect quantitively by FCM.Detail can be seen in our wiki http://2013.igem.org/Team:SYSU-China/Project/Results The data will be uploaded here at the following days.
kill range
For each suicide gene, it is important to know which cancer cells and normal cells it will kill.So that people can speficially choose gene that will be functional in their project when duelling about cancer. And we define this new feature for each suicide gene that we submitted. The list will be changed due to more and more experiment will be done. We highly recommend people to adopt this characteristic as important characteristic of suicide gene.
