In our hands, the localization appears to be very efficient in U2OS and HEK293 cells (data coming soon). This tag is very handy for live cell fluorescent labeling, since image processing of glowing nuclei with nice defined edges is much simpler than quantifying diffuse signal in cell bodies with irregular edges.

Usage and Biology
