The S7 nuclease was synthesized from IDT however there was a point mutation in the sequence that hindered the activity of the nuclease. Instead of the 'A' there was a 'T'. We did mutagenesis to change the mutation back to its original nucleotide. This brick has the S7 that has undergone mutagenesis and is functional.

Design Notes

The S7 nuclease was synthesized from IDT however there was a point mutation in the sequence that hindered the activity of the nuclease. Instead of the 'A' there was a 'T'. We did mutagenesis to change the mutation back to its original nucleotide. This brick has the S7 that has undergone mutagenesis and is functional.

Source

This part was synthesized from IDT and is native to Staphylococcus aureus
