This part consists of a ArsR generator (BBa_K935001)under the control of pArs coupled to pArs and RFP as a reporter. This device was designed to quench the basal transcription of pArs and quantitatively raise the threshold of induction of RFP expression. pArs-RFP was acquired from BBaK190015 and therefor there is no scar between the promoter and reporter allowing for a reporter substitution.
