In this picture , the color of the sample   D   standing for cell extracts collected from bacteria overexpressing fadE is lighter than the control(tube A) . It means the fatty acids remaining in the tube is less .From the results above, we have proved that the biobrick responsible for overexpressing the mentioned gene can metabolize fatty acids much faster.
