The PDZ domain along with its ligand([https://parts.igem.org/Part:BBa_K771104 Part:BBa_K771104]) comes from ''Mus musculus'', which could dimerize spontaneously. The original dimer was introduced by Dueber et al., 2012. This pair of dimer is a perfect material to construct the dimerizable proteins. In Membrane Magic system designed by [http://2012.igem.org/Team:SJTU-BioX-Shanghai 2012 SJTU-BioX-Shanghai Team], the PDZ domain is located in Membrane Anchor 4, while the PDZ ligands on Membrane Anchor 3. Due to the fact that the PDZ domain and ligand is in the N-terminus of the whole protein, we added a SRP-dependent signal peptide, ssdsb, to help the Membrane Anchor localize to the membrane correctly.

The PDZ ligand along with its domain(Part:BBa_K771103) comes from Mus musculus, which could dimerize spontaneously. The original dimer was introduced by Dueber et al., 2012. This pair of dimer is a perfect material to construct the dimerizable proteins. In Membrane Magic system designed by [http://2012.igem.org/Team:SJTU-BioX-Shanghai 2012 SJTU-BioX-Shanghai Team], the PDZ ligand is located in Membrane Anchor 3, while the PDZ domain on Membrane Anchor 4. Due to the fact that the PDZ domain and ligand is in the N-terminus of the whole protein, we added a SRP-dependent signal peptide, ssdsbA, to help the Membrane Anchor localize to the membrane correctly.
