Applications of BBa_K797003

To check whether the expression of kil affects the growth of cells or not, we used the construct, lacp-RBS-Kil-double terminator. We did the experiment as this protocol, and we got the following data. Protocol

  1. Grow cells at 37 degrees for 18h.
  2. Dilute it until OD600=0.1.
  3. Ditribute 3ml of the culture to falcon tubes and add certain amount of IPTG.
  4. Incubate the cultures at 30 degrees and measure OD600 of them every 30 min

The result shows that the expression of kil makes no effect on survival of E.coli.
