Design Notes

The CP44 promoter was chosen to be similar in strength to the LacI promoter, and to be used as a replacement for that one in the standard RFP cassette.

This part has not been assembled as a stand-alone BioBrick. It is a logical part of the pMB1ori-redq BBa_K864121, to be used as a default insert in low and middle copy backbones.
