araC-Pbad - Arabinose inducible regulatory promoter/repressor unit
This regulatory unit can be induced by L(+) - arabinose. The repressor Ara C is located upstream of the arabinose promoter.
Usage and Biology
L(+) - Arabinose is a sugar and ist harmless. For overexpression of proteins the concentration of 0,001-0,02% Arabinose can be used.

This sequenced biobrick was alingned by using nucleotide NCBI BLAST with the original E. coli arabinose regulatory part of the arabinose degradation operon. The results provided 100% coverage.
