CMV
Constitutive CMV promoter; PCR cloned from pcDNA3.1+
Usage and Biology
- "Strong" expression compared to Ubc and HPK
- Constitutive (does not require induction)
The cytomegalovirus promoter (CMV) promoter drives expression at a level greater than the ubiquitin C promoter (Ubc) and human phosphoglycerate kinase (HPK) in mammalian cells.
