The length of BBa_K571007 is 11kb which contain acsABCD and Cmcax and Ccp genes. All the genes are transformed into E.coli in order to produce cellulase synthase which can synthesize cellulose. The E.coli is cultured in the medium. Cellulose produced was collected at different time point and the dry weight is recorded.
The maximum production of cellulose is on the 8th hour. We calculated the bacteria colonies which produce the cellulose and carry out mathematical quantification. From the data we collected, about 6g of cellulose is produced per Litre of bacterial cellulose.
