We built this construction in order to test F2620, mainly to find out some orientative data about the threshold level the biobrick was able to detect. We opted for a simple ONPG essay. Ortho-nitrophenyl-betha-galactoside is an artificial substrate for the betha-galactosidase, and it turns the liquid media yellow when it's hydrolized.
