mamHI, from Magnetospirillum magneticum This part includes gene mam H and mamI, which were extracted from the genome of Magnetospirillum magneticum strain AMB-1 by [http://2011.igem.org/Team:Washington UW iGEM Team 2011].
Usage and Biology
The gene number of mamH is AMB0961; mam I is AMB0962. Specific function of mamH was not reported. But it was found that mamI associates with the magnetosome chain localization, and the loss of mamI causes no membrane formation.
