gadX 3'UTR (gadY target)
This part is the 3'UTR of the gadX mRNA. It contains the target sequence for gadY sRNA. Added to a protein coding sequence, the gadX 3'UTR will destabalize the mRNA transcript resulting in low expression. Upon the expression of gadY sRNA, the sRNA-mRNA interaction will stabalize the transcript resulting in activated gene expression.
