Pyruvate decarboxylase (pdc) from Z. Mobilis ATCC 29191
The pdc converts pyruvate to acetaldehyde.
Acetaldehyde can be then furhter converted to ethanol via the adh2 (alcohol dehydrogenase). This can be done for example with this BioBrick BBa_K273001.
