The Registry's Repository
Floating bacteria, Bacto-Blood, colorful pigments: iGEM teams and labs continue to add interesting and novel parts, devices and systems to the Registry.
DNA samples are also sent to the Registry, added to the Registry Repository and tested for their quality. These samples are provided to iGEM users through the DNA Distribution or by request.
About the Registry's Repository
The iGEM Registry is a growing collection of genetic parts that can be mixed and matched to build synthetic biology devices and systems.
As part of the synthetic biology community's efforts to make biology easier to engineer, it provides a source of genetic parts to iGEM teams and academic labs.
