Registry/Software Changes/User and Group Management

User and Group Management

Where is your professional home page? What is your username on the Registry? Are you on OpenWetware? What iGEM team or what lab do you belong to? Both? iGEM last year but a lab this year?

When the Registry wants to give you credit for your parts, or present a list of your parts, which home page should be linked?

If you forget your password on OWW and get a new password, do you have to do it again on the Registry, on the iGEM wiki?

The Registry and iGEM have a shared user and group management system. When you apply for an iGEM account, you are set up with accounts on the Registry, on the Registry Wiki, and on your iGEM team. Last year about 700 new users got their accounts in this way. However, there are still three accounts and there are software flaws that can cause your passwords to be different on these systems.
