Design Notes

This part was codon optimized for Synechocystis, reflecting its planned expression in this cyanobacteria. However, it has also been shown to work well in E. coli.

Source

ZCD originated from Crocus Sativus, the saffron plant. However the version present here has been codon optimized for synechocystis.
