GAL1, 10 promoter：Bidirectional promoter

By fusing the Saccharomyces cerevisiae GAL1 promoter and GAL10 promoter in opposite orientations, we obtained a GAL1, 10 bidirectional promoter. Upon induction with galactose, this promoter can simultaneously initiate the expression of two genes upstream and downstream, thereby allowing the expression of two proteins from a single plasmid. Our experiment uses this bidirectional plasmid to simultaneously express Gα protein and MOR215-1.
