This plasmid-encoded for CD63 fused to the HiBiT peptide and P9SN. The 6xHis tag inserted into the large extracellular loop of CD63 is used to facilitate purification of successfully engineered exosomes. It is used to target fluc specifically into exosomes via coiled-coil fused RNA binding proteins. The HiBit peptide is used for detection via luminescence.
