The sequence of this part codes C-terminal of yellow flourescent protein (YFP). Flourescence of the protein can only be detected when combined with another part of YFP protein that is not included in this part but can be found as seperate part in the Registry (nYFP: BBa_K245022). This feature proves useful when interactions between proteins are under inspection. Based on presence or absence of flourescence and position of nYFP and cYFP domains in studied polypeptides one can deduct how these polypeptides assemble in larger structures and/or when this proces takes place.
