The full-length version of the AHD1 yeast promoter, known for constitutive expression, is notably potent and can drive high levels of gene expression. In contrast, truncated versions of this promoter exhibit constitutive activity but result in relatively low expression levels. The AHD1 promoter is prevalent in various organisms, including human and animal liver, plant cells, and microbial cells, where it serves as a crucial enzyme in the metabolism of short-chain alcohols. Moreover, glucose has been found to enhance the promoter's activity, playing a significant role in numerous physiological processes. In our project, It is used to drive some of the protein in K.Marxianus. Thus, it is also workable in K.Marxianus
