If you are the leader of an iGEM team or other Registry group, you have some special responsibilities. First, you will receive membership applications from users who want a Registry account for the first time or are a member of another group but want to join yours as well. You will see these requests when you go to Users and Groups from the Main Page.

Note: You are the first line of defense against unscrupulous spammers who would like to fill the Wiki with references to their sites. Please be a bit careful to be sure these are real Synthetic Biologists.
