This part contains an OmpC promoter (BBa_R0082) regulated eGFP as well as OmpF promoter (BBa_K4061000) regulated mRFP1. Cells with this construct were grown in different LB media with an increasing Na+ concentration to subject the cells to an increasing osmolarity. The fluorescence intensities of both reporters was measured using a fluorescent spectrophotometer.
