BioBrick_BASIC_Aro4_tENO1

This is a composite part of the yeast gene Aro4 (See BBa_K3559000) and tENO1 (See BBa_K3559001). This part removes the necessity of cloning together the CDS and the terminator for teams who want to use Aro4 in their yeast synthetic biology projects whilst minimising cloning steps. Whilst a whole transcriptional unit may be attractive to some teams, we opted to not include a promoter in this composite part, allowing teams to have a higher degree of control over Aro4 expression or build large combinatorial libraries of differing expression levels.


Sequence and Features

Similarly to the parent parts, this whole part is surrounded by both the BASIC iP/iS and the BioBrick prefix and suffix, allowing teams to carry out cloning using either BioBrick or BASIC methods.

Note: in creating this part, we had the whole composite part made by De Novo gene synthesis and so there are no BioBrick scars or BASIC linkers between Aro4 and tENO1.
