NADH Dehydrogenase Coding Region
BBa_K1072001 is the coding region of NADH dehydrogenase which is an enzyme following chemical reaction:
NADH + H+ + acceptor ↔ NAD+ + reduced acceptor
The ndh gene can express enzyme NDH-2 to generate H2O2 vapor which is an additional activator of the luxI promoter in oscillator system by changing cells redox state transiently. H2O2 vapor can migrate between colonies and then synchronize them.
We transformed the BBa_K1072002 into the cells and detected highter H2O2 concentration than blank.
