SpyCatcher002-FAST-PETase
FAST-PETase is an PET hydrolase that has been engineered to improve degradation efficiency [1]. It has also been observed, that creating a fusion protein with MHETase, another enzyme in involved in PET depolymerization, overall performance can be improved [2]. This part contains a SpyCatcher002 sequence codon optimized for E. coli, that has been fused to the N-terminus of FAST-PETase. The intended use is to form a fusion with part BBa_K4701303 which contains the MHETase domain. The predicted conformation created with ColabFold [4] is shown in Figure 1.
