TetR repressor (reverse orientation)
This part is the TetR repressor in reverse orientation.
Usage and Biology
TetR is a helix-turn-helix transcriptional regulator . It is capable of binding a consensus sequence in the cognate promoter region thus repressing transcription in the absence of tetracycline or anhydrotetracycline.
