This plasmid is a vector backbone for bacterial transformations. It is a vector for high copy bacterial expression. It contains a selection gene that encodes for the AmpR ampicillin resistance gene. It contains an eGFP (Enhanced Green fluorescent protein) (BBa_K1094400) insert under the control of a constitutive lac promoter. It contains as well a His tag at the C terminal of the protein.
