Design Notes

We ran the MHETase sequence through several codon optimization tools to optimize the sequence for E. coli and so it could be sequenced through IDT. Orginially, there were too many Cs and Gs in the sequence for IDT to synthesize so it was necessary to change the DNA sequence slightly, though the codons remained the same.
