HydA Terminator from C.acetobutylicum
|
Usage
The hydA transcriptional terminator was used in two composite parts BBa_K2715007 and BBa_K2715008 which aimed to suppress toxin production in C. difficile. The composite parts consisted of two inhibitory antisense RNA parts which the hydA terminator was responsible for breaking up into two separate asRNA molecules by terminating transcription.
Biology
This terminator part is native to C. acetobutylicum where it lies between the two genes pyrE and hydA.
Secondary Structure
Measurement
This terminator had been previously shown to function by our host research group SBRC nottingham, and it was used in the two composite parts Bba_K2715007 and Bba_K2715008.
